RIP Ric Parnell.

Spinal Tap's drummer has passed away aged 70. Ric, who played Mick Shrimpton and spontaneously combusted during the movie, and then went on to tour as his twin brother Ric as well as playing in bands such as Atomic Rooster, Horse and Nova & Stars. He also played on Toni Basil's hit 'Hey Mickey'.
