I had seen PLANET OF THE APES and 2001, but WILLARD (1971) was the first full blown horror movie I seen at a theater- with my brother Mike. My Dad dropped us off.

SAVAGE MAN, SAVAGE BEAST (1975)
Not all but some of the film deals with animals attacking humans.  One of those "mondo" documentaries.
Some of FACES OF DEATH (1978) had at least one animal attack scene.  Both movies had many scenes at least purported to be fake.

Didn't recall if JENNIFER (1978), STANLEY (1972) SSSSSSS (1973) or KILLER SNAKES (1974) were listed.  All with snakes attacking people.

I remember that one  :buggedout: there is footage of a German tourist named Pit Dernitz who was allegedly mauled and eaten by lions.  :buggedout:
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Fer De Lance (1974)

An idiot buys a venomous snake & sneaks it on a submarine, which causes trouble. Slow, & kinda dull TV movie, mostly about the sub getting trapped in an underwater landslide, with the snake as a background threat. (Going by memory.)

not gonna include the doco type ones, but the other 4 seem to check out, thanks... a friend at work keeps telling me to check out SSSSSSS. it's got Dirk Benedict in it, who I can only ever see as Face from The A Team
