Slowly beginning the process of rationalising my DVD collection into smaller binders (the big ones fall to pieces under the weight). Anyway, this is my first one (this list is just really for me to reference, but hey if you like reading this sort of thing knock yourself out. The plan is to get a couple of new folders each month. There are a few movies that aren't going in the binder, mostly collected franchises or special editions. It gets roughly sorted in a vague alphabetical order, but I don't bother about these things too much. If you disagree with me on what genre a movie belongs to, well tough. I am very unlikely to move it based on what anyone else thinks.

yeah I remember it getting largely panned on release but I never saw it... I watched about the first 3 minutes on youtube a while back and thought looked kind of goofy :)

first one is genuinely great, but I don't own it.

I remember picking it up, I guess 10 to 15 years ago and having a chuckle when I saw them congratulating Charles and Diana on their marriage in the credits.

It's looking like you might have a movie collection which dwarfs my massive collection.

I have 3 bookshelves, a box with VHS tapes under my bed and 4 boxes on my bedroom floor of them.

A more than impressive collection. I think I own maybe fifteen DVDs (plus five Blu-ray, four VHS) and half of those are TV shows.

PS: I've seen fourteen movies in your collection.

Like I said, this is just me starting on the horror section. I also have those letters under sci-fi, action, drama, adult cartoons, kids cartoons, fantasy and oh yeah... musicals.

Ah thank you for posting this!  I've been trying to put together a list of shows and movies for my kids to see at least by the time they are 20 or so and this is kind of helping me remember some of them (I can't believe I forgot Arachnophobia!).   Books are important, but let's face it, not everyone is a good reader and movies are a great way to teach about history and bring kids up to speed on culture, especially how it's differed in the century or so before they were born. All the boomers that told us too much TV & movies are bad for you while we were growing up were wrong wrong wrong.

Honestly, I've been a little bit surprised at the number of posts about it. I figured it would just be a quiet little thread where I'd keep a list of my movies.

An American Werewolf In Paris
April Fools Day
Cannibal Apocalypse
Critters 2

I own these 4... literally bought AAWIP yesterday, haven't seen it yet!
I liked Paris for what it was.

I mean it was a "sequel" almost 20 years later with like no returning cast. I've seen worse.
