I happened on this while up with insomnia last night. These men created a formula long believed impossible and found a way to successfully predict the winners of horse races. Their algorithm incorporated more than 120 factors into the mix and their success rate was such that they made millions betting in Hong Kong.  One won the biggest racetrack payoff in history, then gave it to charity. It's a long read but a good one....
