Tony Blair Witch Project...anyone got a copy?

So a "notorious" bad movie that's been mostly lost for the last 20 years, is The Tony Blair Witch Project, which somehow was on the bottom 100 list on IMDB despite FEW actually watching it. So will go over a few things quickly...

The movie came out in 2000, a Blair Witch parody, which was directed by Mike Martinez, who became a pretty big time cinematographer in Hollywood (he's worked on some Marvel stuff lately like Moon Knight). It was basically a low budget student esc kind of movie, and the trailer can be found on youtube, posted by pinballman85

I am not 100% sure how the movie was distributed. It was either distributed via ordering it off a website directly, or was released exclusively to Torrent sites. I do know it was on Torrent Sites, but sadly it isn't seeded anymore. However, some have acquired a partially complete (it wasn't fully seeded and was basically an incomplete file) copy of it (which I have) but it's missing 15 minutes of the movie and it's borderline unwatchable with the skipping and visual glitches. So obviously this isn't very good and the full movie has yet to resurface in it's full glory.

However, there is someone who I am pretty sure had/has the full movie, Atom Mudman on Blogspot.

I have attempted to contact this person, but no response yet. I did try another e-mail they use though via their twitter page, so I'll see if I can get anymore luck there. I also attempted to contact Mike Martinez, though I have yet to get a response (though I only did it in the last day), to see if he could send me a copy. However, when he was on the IMDB forums a decade ago, he refused to upload the movie because he felt embarrassed by it (understandable), though claimed he would only do so if he would re edit it, so I am expecting him to probably refuse to share it if he even still has it.

I often get reminded about this movie and am just kinda obsessed with finding the full version of it. If anyone happens to have a copy of it here, could it possibly be shared with me privately? Just it would be nice to preserve this movie so everyone can finally see it, considering it's weird reputation a decade ago on IMDB.

Andrew Borntreger who used to run this site definitely has a copy. He described to me how they sent it to him for review and kept bothering him about it, He thought it was stupid

Know of a way to contact him? Is he still on the site even though he doesn't run it anymore?

You could try messaging him. Unfortunately, he doesn't come on the site much any more so is unlikely to see this post. If he gets an email notification of a message it might be a better way of getting in touch with him.

Someone was able to find a 39 minute copy of the movie on some Russian sites. However, still no sight of the full movie.

No response from Andrew yet either.

Alright, he hasn't responded yet. But just incase, do you happen to know anyone who is still in contact with Andrew? Because I have a feeling I may need to ask them to talk to Andrew about this.

This sounds awful, but with a zany title like The Tony Blair Witch Project it's worth a shot.

One of the leads I had refuses to share the movie, out of respect of the Director. I respect that, though it's disappointing regardless.

Andrew is the next best lead, though I have no idea if he still uses the badmovies.org e-mail anymore, which is concerning me.
