According to Jeff Sneider on the Hot Mic podcast, Amazon have started to come up with a strategy over their MGM properties and believe Poltergeist to be one of the projects likely to get the best return.

Well, if this second reboot is an exclusive to Prime Video then I don't care because I don't do Prime Video. And a second reboot certainly won't lure me to Prime Video either.
