Ok, it said it was at 5pm, but I was assuming that was eastern time rather than GMT.

It can be a little confusing to navigate but it's basically just sign up for account, follow my links. They will ask you to download their app but I think you can just use the browser tab instead. Discord was invented for gamers to share games together, but the infrastructure can be used for watch parties.
