I've started writing again

After almost a decade of not writing anything, I've started going through and re-writing my book Riding The High Wind on our film industry.

The odd thing is when I was back at work temporarily a few months back, the idiot who put me off writing back then showed up as a client - I hadn't seen him since I asked him to kindly f off ten years ago - and the fact of seeing him again made me think of two things to do, either: (1) kick the guy in the nuts or (2) start writing again and prove him wrong again.

The result: he had to buy some Icy Hot   and I am now writing again: maybe I can finish my script too? We shall see.

I think I should explain to Sister Newt and all of you why I wanted to kick the dude in the nuts so  

He read my book and said that I hadn't done my research properly.
Trev: "Really? What did I do wrong?"
TB: (the person's initials) "The film First Blood. That's an American film, why is it here?"
Trev: "I have three Canadian friends who assure me that British Columbia has always been part of Canada.
TB: "So?"
Trev: "First Blood was shot there in a town called Hope so it is a Canadian film."
TB: "What does that have to do with the SA film industry?"
Trev: "The guy who composed the end credits theme tune's lyrics was born in Muizenberg, South Africa."
TB: "*CRICKETS*"

I have gotten a few things wrong over the years such as thinking the movie Dark of The Sun aka The Mercenaries was filmed here when it was actually filmed in Jamaica but not too much.

I should be done with re-writing and checking the ms by Thursday and then I'll submit it. 😊

I never realized I used so many expletives in my original text

Almost done: two more days I think as the deadline for submissions is 4 April.

All done: lost about six hours sleep but it is done and submitted.
