Some titles are just f**king cool.
Movies- maybe not so much.

THE EARTH DIES SCREAMING (1964) is a very nihilistic title. I love it! The movie was actually good too!

I EAT YOUR SKIN (1970) is really the 1964 movie ZOMBIE, but was not released untill 1970 on a double bill with I DRINK YOUR BLOOD, which is a fantastic f**ked up movie about insane, blood drinking, rabid Mansonites!

Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

Great pulp adventure title. Some don't live up to the title.

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension (1984)
Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn (1983)
Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone (1983)
Battle Beyond the Stars (1980)
Starchaser: The Legend of Orin (1985)
Timerider: The Adventure of Lyle Swann (1982)

at the time (1960) I guess PSYCHO must've seemed like quite a daringly confrontational name for a movie? and it probably opened the door for more similarly blunt titles

had it come out just a few years earlier you could imagine it being called 'THE TWISTED INDISCRETIONS OF AN INSANE MOTEL PROPRIETOR' or something

edit - just remembered it's directly lifted from the book title, lol

BLOOD OF GHASTLY HORROR (1971) is a totally meaningless title for a totally meaningless movie!

I found Motel Hell amusing when I was a kid, and the way they incorporated the broken neon sign....

HORROR OF THE BLOOD MONSTERS (1970)

Another Al Adamson title that is comprised of catch words-"Horror", "Blood", "Monsters"!

Eyes Of Fire (1983)
It was mostly the plain B&W hand drawn cover art that kept catching my eye every time I browsed past it in the old video store... The description had me expecting some sort of Eurotrash & not a tale of Puritans dealing with bad make-up & spontaneous combustion.....
