On Memorial Day, we remember and honor all of the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives to keep our country a safe place to live in. Please be sure to take a moment today to thank those who died for our freedom and who will never be forgotten.

My Dad was in the Navy, my Uncle Ron in the Marines, and my stepson Jim in the Army. All dead.

And to all who served and died working in intelligence services, whose bravery will never be known.

as much as i appreciate those who served, this is a day to memorialize ALL of our lost loved ones. we celebrated our parents lives today, in particular. both of our dads were vets, our moms were too, they just didn't get paid by USAF directly.
   and we celebrated our other lost loved loved ones as well, in story and song, and with food. it's just how WE do it, you know?
