To respond to your PM that what happens next between us is "up to you" (meaning me) I don't think the people on this board want to sit through another round of us badmouthing one another, and I'm long since tired of fighting, so I got a bright idea....

You don't read my posts or post directly to or about me, I won't read yours or post to or about you, including subtle sniping, and that way we can merrily go on without pointless conflict and spare others and ourselves unneeded drama and rancor. Little would be lost by severing interaction since it's not as if we're likely to suddenly link arms and sing sea shanties together in friendship, is it?  

I don't know about you but I would be willing to do just ignore you totally because while I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, to me that sounds like a polite compromise between two people who seem to irritate one another without effort and it might make things better here for everyone.

I'll even begin once I post this and won't be the first to break my offer. So it's all on you. I bet we can do it if we try.

Is that why you gave me bad karma for my peace offer? You see this as an attack? Interesting! Why, nothing in my offer is against you, I'm saying let's have peace on equal terms. I'll leave you alone and you leave me alone, we'll pretend the other doesn't exist, and beyond that let's do what we want. Unless you're admitting your goal is to make trouble here, and I do have an opinion on that, I don't see why you'd reject someone giving you a chance to placidly co-exist.

Well, I guess it's like you said to me in private, you're never going to get over me hurting your feelings in 2017 when I got the best of you for butting rudely into my conversation with someone else, but however much I find you sad and boring I did sincerely try to defuse things with you here with my suggestion, and as everyone sees, the rejection of that peace overture came from you, not me, proving that you only feel empowered by making trouble. I guess the best thing for me is to quit reading your posts altogether, whether you still read mine or not. (I don't think you're able to resist reading my posts because you seem to burn with anger toward me.)

I do have to chuckle at your paranoia about this though: duh, I mustn't fall for some hidden trap in her offering to leave me alone if I leave her alone, I better be careful it's a trap, duh.
