I just heard that the author of the Necroscope series died earlier this month (2nd of Jan). I was never a fan of his work myself, especially his work on the Cthulhu mythos where I felt he really did not understand what made Lovecraft's stories good reads (I recall reading a passage about how Nyarlathotep was almost an anagram of telepathy, which somehow indicated that he wasnt a real god but just the combined mental output of the other gods) but he did have plenty of people who did like his writing.

I wonder if we will now get a TV series of Necroscope? I do recall hearing something about it being in the works a few years back.
