I hate to be a fly in the ointment, and I myself have been guilty of stretching the definition of "post-apocalyptic" here. But I'll maintain that all of my suggestions take place partially or entirely following something that may be an apocalypse. EL TOPO might take place instead in a fantasy world, not a post-apocalyptic one, so I wouldn't complain if it's disqualified.

But, w/ much due respect to Trevor - is any part of THE LAST WAVE post-apocalyptic?  IIRC, the entire film takes place in pre- or non-apocalyptic Earth, and only at the very end does something occur which might be an apocalypse. We never see what happens post-apocalypse in THE LAST WAVE, though....... right? So - - - in the most good-spirited if deeply autistic manner possible....... might I motion to strike that one?

(Still a great movie!)

Rev. Powell

If Trevor doesn't object I'll strike both EL TOPO and THE LAST WAVE.

I think I can add a few that do not appear:
American Cyborg:  Steel Warrior
Cyborg
Death Race 2000
Logan's Run
MD Geist
Omega Doom
The New Barbarians
The Sisterhood
Stryker
Tank Girl
The Terror Within
The Ultimate Warrior
Virus (1980)

EDIT TO ADD:  Chosen Survivors might fit.  Fits pretty well with the Fallout theme at least.

Steel Dawn has been listed twice, 29 and 50.

I was happy to see a few already listed, like Radioactive Dreams and Wizards.

Tricky, some of these low budget titles.....

Gosh darn, yes.  I remember picking a movie to watch one night.  Picked a few titles.  War of the Robots was represented at least twice, perhaps 3 times as all different titles.

I thought of one I don't see!

The Postman.  (An adaptation of a David Brin book that I love; I haven't watched the movie.)

Does The Matrix count?

OK, I'm going to remove EL TOPO and THE LAST WAVE and see where we are after incorporating the new titles that aren't duplicates. (DAMNATION ALLEY was already named, I don't think THE MATRIX counts but if someone else wants to make a case...)

89) The Time Travelers

Which is a remake of...

90) Beyond the Time Barrier

Decent B-Movies, where time travelers find people living in bunkers after some sort of disaster or war.

And there's also:

91) World Without End

Which has a plot similar to Travelers & Beyond

92) Deluge

Which someone finally found an English copy of.

You could even include:

93) The Time Machine (1960)

H. G. Wells' story is set in a post-apocalypse future with violent mutants preying on nice, docile human cattle. (Actually, you could argue the Morlocks & Eloi are different non-human species descended from humans, but we don't need to go that far into the story.)
