The film I was interviewed for - BANNED - will be released at the Durban International Film Festival next month.

I can't post a link to the trailer here but if you Google the Durban International Film Festival and open the program, BANNED will appear and there is a link to the trailer on YouTube.

Scariest part? 0:48 on the trailer 😳😳😳😳😉😉🐢

Thanks: I think the film is about more than just apartheid censorship of movies, books, etc because it also talks about the people who were banned like Donald Woods, Beyers Naude etc. I hope my story about Stanley Kubrick's FULL METAL JACKET made it into the final cut. 😉

Actually, you had to be 21 years or older to see FMJ back then but in 1987 the Angolan War was happening and school leavers as young as 17 were being drafted into the army. 😳 So, you could go off and fight in a real war but God forbid you would want to see an Oscar nominated war film. 😳😳
