Given the Trump is focused entirely on retribution against all his enemies in his second term

A good way for Hunter Biden to avoid this sort of retribution would be to not do tons of crimes in the first place.

If I had the power to spare any child of mine from prison, I'd do it too.

Right. Trump was prosecuted. Hunter Biden is avoiding prosecution, though. Biden's own DOJ brought the gun charge against Hunter, which he then pardoned him for.
