Going against the grain? Post your unpopular movie opinions here.

Alien: Resurrection (1997) is much better than Alien³ (1992)
Is it October yet?

I don't really get the appeal of Jurassic Park. Or rather, I get it but I don't feel it

I walked out of INVICTUS with almost half the audience who were moaning about historical inaccuracies.

People know how I feel about DISTRICT 9.

THE SHINING - along with VON RYAN'S EXPRESS, THE EAGLE HAS LANDED and GHOST STORY - is the worst book to film adaptation ever.

I assisted on the production of the Oscar nominated doccie LONG NIGHT'S JOURNEY INTO DAY and hated it.

I worked with three Oscar winners, one who I never met (worked with his assistant) one who treated me like 💩 and the other who was a great dude.

I despise the ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW. I don't like most musicals at all, in fact.
I seen only one STAR WARS movie- the first when it came out in '77, and it was ok. Never felt the need to watch another.
Saw AVATAR and thought it was awful.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW was banned here after one person complained to the apartheid censor board 😳😬

I prefer the first two CRITTERS movies to GREMLINS 1 + 2

An American Werewolf in Paris isn't as bad as people seem to say.

Granted I would've preferred practical effects for the werewolves but overall I quite enjoyed it.

Quentin Tarantino is a glorified obnoxious plagiarist.

I never liked any of the Daniel Craig Bond movies.

Granted I've never read the book, but I prefer the Kubrick version of the Shining compared to the mini series that King was involved with.

this may be quite a popular opinion!

Quote from: Trevor on Today at 06:04:48 AMI never liked any of the Daniel Craig Bond movies.

not to slight him as an actor, but the one of his I've watched (which I think was SKYFALL but may have been SPECTRE) was way too 'serious' for what my personal enjoyment of Bond is... Craig is too much of an ice man, for me.

re-watched OCTOp***y the other day and the first half of that film is as zany and comedic as anything. Bordering on MONTY PYTHON at times. there's a scene where Moore does a tarzan leap and they actually dub the original tarzan yell noise over it.:bouncegiggle:  that's the spirit!
