BREAKING BAD
THE WIRE
WESTWORLD
THE WALKING DEAD

nope with a side helping of nope.

I have seen 1 solitary clip of GAME OF THRONES and it's a straight no from me.

The SHERLOCK HOLMES series with Bendydick Cucumber-patch and Martin Freeman was arse on toast.

any DOCTOR WHO since the relaunch with Billie Piper. (not that I was ever a massive fan of the show anyway, but at least the older ones seemed authentic and scared me as a kid)

TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES
If you like the first 2 films, stay away from this utter dreck.

ROSWELL. not sure why I even watched this. blatantly aimed at 14yr old girls into sci fi.

SCHITT'S CREEK
Horrible and not funny, despite the calibre of some of those involved and behind it.

Quote from: Trevor on June 13, 2025, 09:10:43 AMI've never been able to understand the acclaim series like THE SOPRANOS got. This series is asking the public to have sympathy for someone who, to put it mildly, is an out of control murderer, mafioso, drug addict, alcoholic with a whore for a wife and two children who hate their father and what he does for a living.

Then the poor mafioso gets panic attacks from all the killing, loansharking, drugs, whoring and alcohol consumption and goes to see a shrink?

Spare me from this bulls**t. 🥴

considering that GOODFELLAS is in my top 10 movies of all time, I struggled with this and gave up after half a dozen episodes. I didn't hate it but it didn't pull me in.

BREAKING BAD was another TV series that I also don't and didn't get. A man is dying and wants to provide for his family by creating high quality drugs but in the process becomes the very thing he beheld as bad. I watched the first episode and the last one and still cannot understand the acclaim it got nor do I understand why said person would toss pizzas on his roof 🙄😳🍕
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

The Walking Dead really picks up in Season 2. Stats consistently good through season 7 when Negan gets introduced.

It did fall off in the last few seasons but I enjoyed it overall.
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide.

it's rare I find someone else who doesn't like it... for me it seemed to be trying to forcibly mash Tatantino with Coen Bros styles, but in the most cringe way possible

I believe you... one of my tv watching failings (and this probably goes for BREAKING BAD too) is that I have next to zero patience for developing characters and storyline arcs.

pretty much all the tv series that I do like are structured like stand-alone episodes that could in theory be watched in any random order...
