(Photoshop Thread) Turn Good Movie Posters Into Bad Ones

Hi folks! Seeing as we have such a popular AI poster thread, I thought it might be fun to have a good old fashioned photoshop thread alongside it. The theme here is taking good movie posters (or bad posters for good movies) and editing them to be bad movie posters (or bad posters for bad movies).

We already have an AI thread, so please use your own inimitable craftsmanship, no matter how shabby. Anyone can make a good poster worse! Here is an example by yours truly. Original on the left, my blistering satire on the right.

Well, the images came out vertically rather than horizontally. Unedited is on the top, blistering satire is on the bottom. I hope this clears up any confusion.

Good idea. I HATE using photoshop, though (I use the free GIMP, but same idea). Hopefully some others who are fluent in it will chip in.

This idea occurred to me late last night - Soup, you're a genius. I hate AI. Although I've enjoyed everyone's AI poster creations, I will never - never - participate in that thread as a content creator. However, I will participate in this thread - when I finally figure out how to upload jpgs!  I've struggled for years to successfully link to or upload images on this site... this is a good excuse to finally invest 10 minutes in figuring out what I'm doing wrong.

Anyway, thanks for starting this!

Can't upload directly, upload to imgur.com and then post here. I grab the proper link from imgur right after uploading: click on three dots>>get share link>>BBCode (forums), but there are other ways to do it.

I have never tried to do photoshop. It looks way too complicated to do for me.

There was that one time I really wanted to do photoshop. An online friend posted a picture of himself standing at a river. I wanted to photoshop Moshzilla into the image.



She went viral in 2005 I think. The entire Internet was photoshopping her into whatever. Good times.
