Quote from: chainsaw midget on September 11, 2025, 12:37:28 PMThis guy talked about blacks just driving around looking for white people to hurt for fun and said that we should have the right to shoot anyone that crosses the border.  Not illegally crosses, just crosses.  He should corporations shouldn't give jobs to black people and that children should watch public executions.  He called for gay people to be put to death.

The world is a better place with him dead.

What's your source for those accusations? Admittedly I don't know much about the man and would be interested in reading these diabolical quotations. Could you be a dear and post some links to where he says or writes this, please?

I'd honestly never heard of this guy until yesterday but my take is that whatever one's political opinions, using violence as a rebuttal to words means an instant forfeiting of any assumed moral high ground on the part of the aggressor.

Quote from: ER on September 11, 2025, 12:32:02 PMI'm with RC on this one, we should have the right to shoot people who support the Second Amendment. Brilliant.

Do you have the ability tp read something and comprehend what it says at the same time?

This is a tragic reminder of how dangerous our political climate has become. Reading his wiki page, I don't agree with anything he said and done, but no one should be killed for their beliefs either.
Is it October yet?

To get you started.

Thank you for going to that trouble for me.

It looks like he was obviously
a divisive figure, but I didn't see any of the quotes you mentioned in the links, many of which were the exact same article, word for word, posted on different sites. I also Googled the quotes and didn't find them. There's a lot of misinformation online so since he can't speak for himself, maybe we should give him the benefit of the doubt that he truly said them.

I'm strongly into free expression, left, right, center, artistic, literary, political, and it's terrible that murder is still a tool to suppress someone's freedom to speak. I've truly grown to hate violence, and the low points we've reached in this country have left me saddened.

PS: You say the world is better off without that man in it, but did his children deserve the agony of their dad being murdered?

well let's cut to the chase here, from the first link:

QuoteHe regularly attacked the LGBTQ community, saying, "God's perfect law...[says gay people] shall be stoned to death."

So he is essentially promoting biblical doctrine (presumably Leviticus 20:13) which begs the question; is it actually 'his' opinion, or more a kind of 'default setting' for any self-professed Christian?

Tricky area, for sure. Not one I tend to get involved in debating,  because I prefer watching movies, listening to music, and making sure I've remembered to buy milk.

I agree... lest we forget, just a few days ago boatload of Venezuelan 'drug smugglers' was vaporized to seeming universal acclaim and cheering from 'the right', no questions asked, with a dozen reported dead. The odds say at least some of those guys were probably fathers and sons and brothers... again yes 'drugs are bad mmmkay', but buying drugs is ultimately a consensual two way thing... can there actually be a 'moral line' to draw in the sand with regards to exterminating life because of 'reason X' - where X is not an immediate threat to life in itself? I'm not convinced.
