I remember that the apartheid censor board wanted to cut a few minutes out of ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN and he jumped on them with both feet and threatened a boycott of local cinemas if they did so. They backed down and he won. :cheers:

One of those guys you perhaps assumed could not die.

3 DAYS OF THE CONDOR is my go-to RR movie, I'm not that well versed in his filmography overall though.

We need to credit him for the Sundance Film Festival as well, which, though it isn't what it once was, was still a huge boost to independent filmmaking in the 1990s.
