I've been to Madrid and Barcelona, but only once, and only at one of their train stations, for about two hours.
Been to Saragossa and Rota a few times.
We stayed in Costa Brava many times. Went to a bullfight. It wasn't nice, but it is part of their cultural heritage so, that's that.
I miss the Costa Brava beaches. So beautiful.

I've been to spain for literally an hour, when I was a kid. we were in france and my dad drove over the border for a bit, no idea why. just remember sitting in the parked car in Spain for an hour. One for the autobiography...

Oh, forgot to mention. In Costa Brava we went to a nightclub/theater/burlesque kind of thing. They had four 15-minute shows. The first was a guy made up as Charlie Chaplin. He did silent physical comedy/slapstick stuff. The second act was a fiery couple doing a hot flamenco dance. The third act was interesting and, well, cringe inducing. A woman wearing a blonde wig and négligée about ready to go to bed receives a phone call from her boyfriend, we assumed. They are having a 'naughty' conversation. It ends with the woman actually masturbating while on the phone. This was done in a more suggestive way, though. At the very end she is about to climax, splitting both her legs in the air, and all lights went out. lol. Oddly enough, she spoke French, but her voice was pre-recorded, coming from a tape. There was some pretty cool sleazy lounge muzak as well. The final act was a guy doing magic tricks.
