Things you just can't remember

1. The name of the movie The Demon Seed (1977). Every single time I want to write something about this I have to search "Dean Koontz movie where the mechanical house wants to f**k the woman" or something.

2. The name of the band Dystopia. Dystopia is a hip stoner/ skater band who I should know off the top of my head. Instead, something about the name refuses to adhere to my brain lining. search "Sabbathy hip band I'm supposed to like"

I can remember the layout of my elementary school including the gym and library, but not these two things.

I can't (or don't care to) remember the first name of my next door neighbor. She's friendly, but we rarely small talk, other than the obligatory "good morning" or so.

the name of my favourite jungle track ever... it's either called 'Link' (singular), or 'Links' (plural)...right now I couldn't tell you which it is, so I'm going to look...

- ok it's 'Links'... typically I was siding the other way toward 'Link' in my mind as I was searching. I can never ever remember. I own this track, and been listening to it for the last 30 years lol

This is dark but over the summer we lost two members of our extended family in a terrible domestic accident and I have blacked out all memory of being told that news. I know what the circumstances of my being informed of this horrific incident were and I certainly remember only too well afterwards, but I've come to realize that at some point and for however long it will last, I can't remember the actual moment of finding out about it.
