Looking for inspiration.

So for many years, every christmas I've made Kristi an assortment of generally festive dioramas (although the past couple of years I've made some Disney scenes from Jungle Book and Aladdin). Sometimes they are quick and easy, other times I'll spend a year searching for just the right things, other times it all just comes together in a matter of weeks. A couple of years ago I was almost broken by trying to find enough different reindeer models in 28mm scale to pull a Santa's sleigh, and then trying to get copper piping to stick to the side of the models (to create the reins).

Anyway, a couple of years ago, she wanted a Halloween scene, so I've started doing them. Next years is already well into production. Since we have an xmas village where every year we buy a thematic ornament to add to it I figured I'd do the Halloween scenes the same way.

This is next year's. Still a work in progress, but I am sure you'll get what I am going for.

Anyway, I am looking for thoughts on other movies I could do. It has to be something where the location is going to be as iconic as the characters and I am sticking to horror comedies and TV shows (I had thought of say, doing something from The X-Files but I couldn't think of a location that would stand out other than Fox's office and since that would mean doing the entire FBI building they were in I am not sure that would work. Supernatural with Sam & Dean standing beside their car is something I am considering though. Maybe them standing at a crossroads), so no recreations of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre for example. I have considered something from Beetlejuice, but finding a figure of him (I am not recreating actual scenes from the movies, just things that feature the people and places from them). If I could find a 28 mm-sized wood chipper (or make a proxy), I'd find a way to do something set around Tucker & Dale Vs Evil.

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions of iconic locations I could do a movie scene around, suggest away. In the mean time, I have a keymaster and the Ghostbusters to finish painting up and add to the whole thing and then start on next Decembers scene...
