Coffin Joe

Recently I have read about the Coffin Joe movies. Can any one tell me if they are any good, or if I should skip them?

Coffin Joe is great- I suggest the Fantoma dvds except for awakening of the beast (that one is more about drugs then Coffin Joe.) Very tense stuff for the 60s. Joe gouges people's eyes out, totures people with spiders and snakes etc. At Midnight I'll Take Your Soul and the followup This Night I'll Possess Your Corpse dvds I couldn't recommend enough, they come with reproductions of the actual Brazillian comic books. He's pretty much considered the boogeyman over there and At Midnight... was the first horror film to come out of Brazil. There are a lot of other films in the series but At Midnight... and This Night... are the best out of the bunch- they are the two first ones.
