Have any of you guys seen a movie called Organ?  It's a Japanese horror movie directed by Kei Fujiwara (she played the girlfriend in Tetsuo: The Iron Man) about an underground group that sells human organs on the black market, or something.  Being a fan of the Tetsuo movies, this sounds very interesting to me...

Get a look at this one if you get chance. It's very reminiscent of Cronenbergs Body Horror stuff and fits in snuggly beside other Jap horror films as Naked Blood without being quite so extreme.

This stuff represents some of the best Jap Horror that's around at the moment. It wouldn't be a bad idea to keep your eyes peeled for Battle Royale, Takeshi "Beat" Kitano's upcoming orgy of violence - it should be fun.

Man, I haven't seen any of those, and they all have cool sounding titles too.  My only real experience with Japanese horror cinema is anime and Shinya Tsukamoto... guess I'll have to go do some renting.

You won't find a lot of them as domestic US releases. Some you can pick up from Hong Kong dirt cheap although Untold Story would be a good place to start. It's out on the Tai Seng label in the US.

One weird nutty flick! I'd recommend watching it a couple of times.
