Coffin Joe Trilogy (?)

Best Buy is selling COFFIN JOE TRILOGY that comes with 3 disk in a small black coffin. They want $49 for it. Coffin Joe is suppose to the the number one horror star in Brazil. Has anyone seen or heard of this Brazilian horror Icon?

The films are paced very slowly, with lots of dialog and atmosphere.  Here is a post I put up after watching the first one:

The second is comparable to the first in terms of enjoyment.  Ze finds a woman who shares his views on life, death, and children.  Unfortunately, it takes going through a number of "possible candidates" to find the perfect women.  (Hint:  women do not survive failed relationships with Ze.)

The third is incredibly pretentious, boring, and full of idiotic images that are meant to be "chilling" or "strange."  It drove me nuts and had the gall to be longer than the packaging claimed.   Arrggghhh!

Hes like the boogeyman pretty much over there. The first two are worth seeing and after that I wouldn't recommend checking them out.
