My reviews on teen movies

I'm thinking you never actually watched HALF of those movies...

Cruel Intentions is FAR from a teen-flick. If anything, it's a dark-as-f**k movie, involving cocaine addictions, cruel rich kids, and naive sheltered rich kids, as well as racism and homophobia, all disguised AS a teen-flick. Go watch the f**king movie.

Varsity Blues is probably on the better sports movies I've seen in my life. Beats the hell out of Remember The Titans. Basic message of the movie is "carpe diem." A football team, whose star quarterback is being pressured by his father to stay on the team even though he wants to quit, and whose coach is an abusive (mental and physical) old f**k that won't let the team play the way they know how to win, finally realizes that there's more to life than just some stupid high school game.

American Pie is a throwback to the teen sex comedies of the 80's, including the extremely greatness that is Porky's. People watched this movie for the dick and fart jokes and Shannon Elizabeth naked for the first time, but watched it because it's a good movie the second time.

You know, some movies marketed towards the age 13-21 demographic are actually GOOD movies.

I watched most of them, I saw some of Varsity Blue and fell asleep, same thing with Cruel Intentions. I like Adam Sandler movies more than American Pie.

that was the dumbest thing I've ever read.

1) Can't hardly wait is complete genius I feel it's the ninies American Graffiti the character development is great and they get ever aspect of High School down perfect

2) Tomcats wasn't a teen movie for starters and secondly u got none of it right, great prediction Miss. Cleo! No shannon Elizabeth nudity, No Party and it's about people in there 30's but Good try.

And you do know Not Another Teen Movie is a spoof of teen movies, right? I mean, you actually watch movies before you review them right? *Crickets chirping*.

There are some surprising gems in the "teen movie" categorie. Josie And The p***ycats for one. I expected it to be a stupid "band trying to make it" flick but it turned out to be a pretty funny satire of MTV corporate culture.

I actually watched Josie and the p***ycats 2 days ago, it was more of a kids movie with cussing. They're all like Avril Lavigne but they just try to point out trends aren't right at the end.

I tried watching all these movies then they just got boring and I dozed off, I do better on my music reviews.
