This is all thats left of the Fullmoon web site. There are some really great movies from this company but its too bad they are not being sold anymore. In my god honest opinion these movies are among the best ever made and actually are more fun than a lot of other junk put out by Paramount Pictures Inc..

If anyone knows where I can get a copy of "Sub Species" on LaserDisc it would be greatly apreciated.

Thank you,

The whole subspecies series was going to get a dvd release but that was canned awhile back. I hate to see them pretty much wiped out too.

Does this mean there won't be another Trancers movie? :(

Almost everything I've seen from Full Moon was crap.

Plain & simple.

Frankly I'm glad they're going under.

Good riddance!

everything I've seen from full moon was enjoyable and bad. In a good way. I haven't seen very much "new school" full moon, just a few from when they had a distribution deal from paramount, but what I saw was fun (Bad channels was a cool little movie)

And enjoyably bad :)

I've enjoyed what I've seen from Full Moon, especially the "Subspecies" series (and it's cousin,"The Vampire Journals" directed by the same guy). Also the "Trancers" and "Puppet Master" series.  As well as "Dark Angel: The Ascent" and a few others..."HorrorVision".  Most are pretty creative and have some interesting ideas.  They usually fall apart due to ideas out-stripping production budget, and that usually shows up in some rather uninspiring endings to some good ideas

I used to like Full Moon.I ran out to rent all the puppetmasters and when the marathon ran on sci fi I made sure I watched it.  I also like Trancers and Dark Angel.  I even liked Blood Dolls in a way (ok I only liked the commercial for Pimp.  I might buy the doll if they still have it at Spencer's).  However upon watching RagDoll, Prison of the Dead and Blood Puppets (i think that was the other name not completely sure.) I kind of started to get disillusioned.  However the thing that killed Full Moon for me was Vengeance Of The Dead.  I know they didn't make it but they distributed it and I  was in pain after watching it.

Fearless Freep

Yeah, Fullmoon seemed to run into financial trouble and the creativity really suffered as they started churning out even lower budget dreck without the charm of some of their earlier stuff

Still debatng on renting "Taliman" and "Totem", which are available where I rent a lot of stuff...

I actually heard that Full Moon has gotten a new name OR Charles Band has a new company. Either way, this is pretty much the same case as Empire Pictures to Full Moon pictures and things didn't really change. The new name is Shadow Entertainment and the oonly thing I have seen produced by them was Bleed. Supposedly it's okay but I have yet to check it out.

There is another Trancers 6 but it really is not that great. Probably a 2 slimer, a very low two slimer.

Let's hope what I heard is true.

Nathan does it justice at Cold Fusion

I just read the review and I agree with Nathan, Tim Thomerson wast he best thing about the Trancers movies and the only real reason I wanted to see a sequel. Without him, it's like a Terminator movie without Arnold or James Cameron. :(

Agreed*...who else could deliver lines like "Next time someone gives you an exploding ham, I'm passing the musturd!" :)

The biggest problem though, I felt, with thte series and Deth's character was that they kept his characters consistant but they changed everything around him.  They had to keep the character's attitude the same because that was the most compelling part of the series. Unfortunately, "trancers" went from being weak minded people who were mind controlled to being people born with certain powers.  Thus his "dry hair's for squids" attitude early on made sense early on but seemed a bit akward and unsympathetic in the later movies.

I haven't seen the sixth one so I'm not sure how it will turn

*Well..that and a Helen Hunt in spandex  :)
