I remember once I was watching an episode of Knight Rider where Hasslehoff and KITT have to save some town being washed away from a hydro dam exploding or something - and all the water gushes down. Forutently KITT/Hasslehoff save the town in the nick of time.

I then switched channels to see superman the movie being played - and guess what I saw exactly the same sequence (remember the part where Superman pushes some rocks and it stops the town being drowned?)...

I'm just wondering - does that happen a lot in 80s TV shows...

Also, I dunno if you guys remember "The Fall Guy", but in the opening credits you get lee majors singing pretty badly and a montage of stunts from various episodes. One montage shows majors climbing on a helicopter whilst its in flight. I've often wondering - which episode that was.

Do you know  thescene in Tango in Cash where Sly faces down the two knuckleheads in the Semi truck, and it ends with the bad guys crashing through the windshield? Totally ripped off from Jackie Chan's Police Story. Oh what a sad thing it is when Americans can't write their own bad cinema, but instead have to steal from Hon Kong's bad cinema....what does this say about us and our commitment to the American art of trashy movie making?

Everyone has potentially fatal flaws, but yours involve a love of soldiers' wives, an insatiable thirst for whiskey, and the seven weak points in your left ventricle.

In "Carnasaur 2",  almost every scene from it was in "Aliens"

There was an episode of Quantum Leap where Sam Beckett ended up in Vietnam in his brother's platoon - the gunfire sequences were all lifted from the first "Predator" movie when they were shooting into the jungle.

Alas, it happened in the 90's too....

There is a scene in WAR OF THE WORLDS where people are sitting around listening to a radio broadcast. The exact same piece of footage was used in WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE. This was mentioned in PSYCHOTRONIC. I watched both movies, and sure enough, it was there . . . same scene, same people, two different movies.
