Saw  this very funny movie last night on the British version of the Sci-Fi channel.I expect I'm way behind you B movie nuts in seeing this , but this film had an oddball script,  great effects, some 'name' stars and Mr.T as a bearded lady. I suspect it didn't get the full promotion it deserved, but it was the best original film I've seen in a while. Alex Winter is obviously very  talented. Shame he seems to have disappeared.

Squishy

I love the bit where the poor little goober-kid falls out of the plane, survives the fall, then...well, no spoilers for those who haven't seen it yet.

Check out all the details in Winter's IMDb listing, and you can find a lead to his short films, "Aisles of Doom," "Squeal of Terror," and "The Bar-B-Que Movie," as well as his other stuff. His last work in the listing was the 1999 drama "Fever," so he's not completely disappeared; once every two years is pretty common. (Although I'd rather have funny stuff.)

He does work on Broadway, where talent goes when Hollywood doesn't think it marketable. Ooh, but Hollywood kept Keannu ("The Watcher") Reeves!

Mofo Rising

I liked FREAKED.  One of my favorite moments is:

"Now here's our director of public relations for South America, Juan Valdez."
"My name is Miguel Sanchez!"

Alex Winters also had a short lived comedy show on MTV called "The Idiot Box" .

AW: "If you don't watch my new show 'The Idiot Box', this clown's going to run over my head!"
Clown: "Hey, twenty bucks is twenty bucks."

One of the recurring characters was the Flying Gimp, who was referenced at the beginning of FREAKED.

Also, any movie with Mr. T in it can't be all bad.

Hero-man and Sidekick-boy

This movie is soooo great! I have it! I love it. Me and my cousin saw it when we were like 10 or 11 and now every summer we get together with friends and watch it.
