How many people have played Satan?

I had watched an episode of Beat the Geeks and the Movie Geek was totally stumped when his task was to name as many actors/actresses who have played the Devil. He could only name 3. I like to see how movie fans here can name actors/actresses who have played the Devil in ANY form

Two of the ones he got were Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jm Carrey and for the life of me I cant think of what movies they did. Maybe someone can help me out with those as well . Thanks

i can hardly think of any movies with the devil actually in them! besides the ones already mentioned. there needs to be more devil movies!
didnt adam ant play the devil in a movie?? does tim curry count for playing darkness? and who was that guy that played the devil in highway to hell? and that other movie i think it was called switch with that ugly woman and that guy from that cop show where some guy is reborn into a womans body. some guy was being the devil in that! the only movies i can think of with the devil in them had a giant toy play the devil! or a big hooded figure!

Patrick Bergen was the Devil in Higway to Hell(good call Paquita!), I'd forgotten that one.

Also, David Warner played Evil Personified in Time Bandits..does that count?

I think Kenneth Anger(freak) played the Devil in a movie.

And John Ritter played the Devil in Wholly Moses!

Another problem is most people like to use CGI or something to make Satan (Spawn jumps to mind, I am sure there are others).

You guys seem to have taken all the good satans, but doesn't Gary Shandling play Satan in Deconstructing Harry. Its either him or Billy Crystal, not sure which (a woody allen film)??
