RUN MAN RUN (1968) is a truely great Speghetti Western also known as THE BIG GUNDOWN 2. It stars Tomas Milian and directed by Sergio Sollima. THE BIG GUNDOWN is good, but RUN MAN RUN is great. Tomas Milian is a great actor and fun to watch. Sergio Sollima does a great directing as the film is truely fun. The "man in black" played by Donal O'Brien is good, but I kept wonder how Lee Van Cleef would have done with that role. The film also has the beautiful Chelo Alonso and Linda Veras in it. Watch for John Ireland as the Mexican Revelutionary.

The DVD that I bought by Blue Underground is the best. It has alot of extras. Interviews with Tomas Milian and Sergio Sollima. Many posters are also included. You can listen to the music while at the menu. Best of all they have a 30 minutes special on Speghetti Westerns of the 60's with posters and interviews with many involved on the film sets. This DVD is worth the price if you can find it.
