Ok, so we have all listed our most prized movies.  Now, lets name our favorite CDs. The ones that mean so much.  The ones that you just can't live without.

1. Widespread Panic-Light Fuse And Get Away-This is by far the greatest album I have ever heard in my life.  The songs flow perfectly, and everything is just so..happy.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

Beatles: White Album/Sgt. Pepper/Let It Be/ any other (sort of like asking if you want filet mignon or lobster, at different times I want a different one, but it's all good)
Black Flag:  Damaged (got me through high school)
Will the Circle be Unbroken v.2:  Good, solid country music, pre pop-country days.

Fearless Freep

Can't really name any one favorite CD because I go different stages of what I like and what moves me.  Right now in my CD player I have Dream Theater -"Images And Words". Before that was Miles Davis - "Kind Of Blue".  On my way out this morning it was Jaco Pastorius - "Jaco Pastorius".  Yesterday was  mixture of Rush - "Vapor Trails", Zebra - "Zebra", Weather Report - "Heavy Weather" and Dave Weckl - "Synergy"

Lalo Schifrin - Dirty Harry Anthology - contains the music from Dirty Harry (1971), Magnum Force (1973), and Sudden Impact (1983) - Jerry Fielding scored the third Harry movie, entitled The Enforcer (1976).

John Williams - Jaws (1975) and Jaws 2 (1978) - Of course I am talking about the 25th Anniversary edition of the Jaws soundtrack, which contains the actual session recordings used in the movie.  IMHO his score for Jaws 2 is some of his greatest work.

John Carpenter - The Fog (1980) - My favorite Carpenter score.  You might as well add Varese Sarabande's 20th Anniversary Edition of Halloween (1978) (although I could do without the dialogue) as it the music used in the movie, not re-recordings/covers (as was the previous releases) and the soundtrack for Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982).

Jerry Goldsmith - The Swarm, Damien-Omen II - Two great soundtracks from 1978, a particularly strong year for Goldsmith.  If and when I get the limited edition of the Magic (1978 as well) soundtrack, toss it on the stack as well.  Honorable mention to The Burbs'.

Thanks, Skaboi!  You have some great tunes yourself there.

Looks like a lot of people are into classic rock.  I can definitely respect that.  It'll be interesting to see what everyone else lists.

I listen to hard metal and rock.

I hardly own any CD's anymore cause everything is almost all MP3's.

A few that I like are:

Disturbed
Sevendust
Breaking Benjamin
Primer 55
Union Underground
Endo
40 Below Summer
30 Seconds to Mars

I like the new Metallica....their new stuff is a lot darker than the last few abums they put out.

I also listen to most 80's stuff as well

My all time favorite metal band is Megadeth

My very rare copy of "Machina II" by the Smashing Pumpkins. I paid $50 to buy the two CD's, and I am so happy I did. The story goes that at the Smashing Pumpkins last show at the Metro, they made 25 vinyl copies of Machina II and gave them to their most dedicated fans, and told them to make copies and distribute them independently. I bought a copy because I know how much it means to those who made copies. Plus, it's a great CD. All unreleased stuff.

I don't own any music CD's. I have a few old soundtrack albums from movies like Star Wars and such, but that's it.
