Does anyone know where i can find his movies, besides Fando & Lis which was recently rereleased on DVD?  I recently saw Holy Mountain and it blew away anything I've ever seen on many levels.  It surprises me that none of these sites have any of his movies reviewed.  I guess most people try to stick with American and Asain cinema.  Anyone that hasn't seen his movies definitely check out El Topo, Holy Mountain, and Santa Sangre.

Because of ownership hangups and legal wrangling most of his films are notoriously hard to find through legitimate sources. I want to see his work but have only been able to find Santa Sangre locally, it seems to be the easiest of his films to find.

I ran across a site selling homemade DVDr copies of El Topo and Tusk. I'm curious to take the plunge, but am a little leary. The site is one of those that uses "the Berne Act" loophole of US copyright law to sell flicks not for sale in the US. Anybody have experience with sites like this, are they worth it? This site has lots of European cinema and a fair amount of interesting Asian movies, Japanese mostly. If their stuff plays okay I could see sending a lot of business their way. I was like a kid in a candy store reading that site.

Wow Deah Mex ! ! !  I've been wanting to see a copy of EL TOPO and HOLY MOUNTAIN after seeing SANTA SANGRE. I hear the that they are better than SANTA SANGRE. They remain on my list. I know that some guy  on EBAY is always selling the VHS copies of these movies for like $6 but I just haven't wanted to put out the money.

I've been wanting to see Santa Sangre as well for some years now, but I'm curious about anything by Jodorowsky.

SANTA SANGRE is the most linear of his films that I've seen--it is probably my favorite because I love the imagery, but his ultimate film remains EL TOPO.
