I'm sure some of you have watched the unfortunate INSIDE THE ACTOR'S STUDIO.  Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to ask those questions from the end of every show.  So here we go:

1. What is your favorite word?
Fantastic.  You have to say it with the right emphasis.  Takes care of any response you'll ever have to make.

2. What is your least favorite word?
Shammy.  Just an unpleasant word.  "And if you buy now, we'll throw in these super shammies!"

3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
Creative chaos and laughter.

4. What turns you off?
Close-mindedness.

5. What is your favorite curse word?
f**ker.

6. What sound or noise do you love?
Unbridled laughter.

7. What sound or noise do you hate?
Soulless jazz.

8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
Comic book writer.

9. What profession would you not like to do?
Public relations specialist.

10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
"Jesus Christ, where the hell have you been?"

stupidity, I work at Wendys and someone... amazingly ignored all of the pictures and asked me what comes with a combo meal? I wanted to say fish sticks and maple syrup.... also, how many  people need to ask for  "A medium drink" I have no idea what drink it is they are referring too, and someday will give them the drink of my choice.

Other than pretty girls in skintight jeans? :) A sunny Fall day where there's a slight chill in the air and the leaves are all red and yellow.

The sound of a crowded video arcade because even though I can't play many of today's games (damn left-handed controllers!), it brings back memories of when I could. There used to be a great one at the mall, not very big, but there were no windows, it was never very bright in there and it was completely carpetted. It was like being in a secret hideout. I loved that place. All the arcades today have the machines out in big, brightly lit, tiled rooms.

While looking up threads on The Gate, I found this old thread I posted about that Inside the Actor's Studio questionnaire.

I'm going to update my answers, even though they might be the same, because I think it would be interesting to see what the people who weren't here back in 2003 have to say. Chime in.

Fantastic. I hate answering the question "How are you?" so I always say fantastic.

2. What is your least favorite word?
Still "shammy." I would like to find a way to slam apathy, but I really dislike the word "shammy."

3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
Promoting good will through creative, unexpected means. "Improv Everywhere" has mastered this technique. Add a little magic to the world.

4. What turns you off?
Willful ignorance. The world we live in is broad and mysterious; it very literally defies description. Those who would trade the essential mystery for easy, pat, comfortable answers are the enemy of humanity.

5. What is your favorite curse word?
F**cker. All the benefits of f**k, with the added benefit of being rhythm-stopping.

6. What sound or noise do you love?
Uncontrollable laughter. Anybody can laugh when they want, but people laughing because they have no choice, that's something special.

7. What sound or noise do you hate?
Car alarms.

8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
Stand-up Comic.

9. What profession would you not like to do?
Child Service Protection.

"Indeed".  In normal day-to-day conversation, instead of always saying "yeah", "uh-huh", or "okay" I like to toss in the occasional "indeed" like Teal'c on Stargate

"Warsh".  When some Southerner insists on sticking an "r" tight in the middle of a perfectly good word like "wash".  That bugs me.

Creatively I guess it's studying music theory, as that always inspired me to write a lot of songs on guitar.

Political correctness.

F***.  Perhaps not my "favorite", but it's the one that seems to get used the most often.  I really should make an effort to be more creative with that.

My cat purring.
