Every one loves movies and everyone thinks they have see them all, but let me garantee you that we haven't see them all. I've kept a tally of all the films that I've viewed in completion and found that I have seen 208 films in 12 months. These are all films that I have seen for the first time. Many great films and a few stinkers. I try to pick up what I view as a possibly significant film or strange title when choosing what I watch. Anyway 208 films in 12 months. If I were to watch them straight non-stop without sleeping, eating, etc. it would have taken me 12 days to view all 208 and if I took time to eat and sleep it would have taken me 24 days to view all 208. My movie marathon has taken me far and wide.

Now I have a new list of well over 200 more films that I would like to see from Netflix and Sinister Video, but that may be to costly. In the mean time I'll try to only find obscure films that I can buy like THE HIRED HAND and COFFIN JOE.

The Burgomaster

This is impressive.  I don't know how many I have seen in the past year, but I can almost guarantee that I have not seen 208 movies FOR THE FIRST TIME!  I'd say about 50% of my viewing has been movies that I have seen before.

I bow humbly before you, sir . . .

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Flangepart

"Aggressivlly eccentric, and proud of it!"

Because I'm a monstrous geek, I have kept a list with a thumbnail review of every movie I've ever seen.....right now I'm at 2045....naturally not counting repeat viewings.  I started the list at 15, and now I'm 25....let's see, that's an average of about 200 a year, how about that?  Guess we have something in common....Netflix is a godsend....I keep my queue maxed out at all times, again, because I'm a monstrous geek.

StatCat

I certainly never count but I doubt it's that many for me in a year.  If you're looking to see Coffin Joe films stick with the first two and avoid the rest- they're terribly bad.

Wow Will I guess you deserve The Burgomaster and Flangepart's humility. Will I'd like to see your list and your thoughts on them all, but we only have one life on earth. usually about 60-100 years. I'm still a beginner. I just seen EEGAH last week.
I have about 6 DVD's waiting to be view on my shelve, but am concerned to were I might find more films as the Video Rental stores have nothing left for me, except some new releases. Netflix is great. I used them for about 3 months. Maybe I'll do it again.

Thanks for the COFFIN JOE info StatCat. Those DVD's are quite expensive. $20 at the cheapest I've seen.
