This weekend I watched Dog Soldiers for the fourth time. Despite this not being my first time watching it the Werewolves still scared me a little bit. Actually I think Werewolves ,if done with good effects, always scare me, especially "Eddie" from "Howling". So the top three monsters I DON'T want to meet in really life are...

1) Werewolves: I like dogs but sometimes they still scare me and image how scary it would be to meet a Werewolf.

2) Zombies: If there was a small group that walked slowly then I wouldn't worry to much but if it was a huge mob of them then I'd be p**sing my pants.

3) Face Hugger/ Alien) When I first saw "Alien" the scene where the Alien bursted out of the guys chest left me terrifed of sleeping for days. And seeing a full grown Alien in a barly lite room is terrifying.

Right monsters that you DON'T want to meet in real life.

Now it's time to sing the nation anthem IN AMERICA!!!

Bandit Keith from Yu-Gi-Oh the Abridged Series (episode 12)

I definitely don't want to meet the Alien face huggers.  Humanoid monsters I can face off against aren't such a problem; but I don't want to go near any creature that's going to shove its thing down my throat and make me preggers in my belly.

Ash

I would prefer to stay as far away as possible from the Alien Queen or any of her brood!

Hey you left me off the list

bwa!

The Blob, definitely.   I still cringe at the idea of being digested alive while the hideous mass flows into my open mouth (from screaming) and down into my innards.

Face huggers aren't so bad, so long as I know it is there.  If I open a drawer and it leaps out and suddenly I am turning into an incubator - well, that is bad.

Also, along the lines of evil little beasties - how about the creature in "The Beast from Haunted Cave?"  The scene of the person stuck to the cavern wall, with it snacking on them, was pretty horrid.

ha! did you see those little demonoid creatures in the movie series "the gate"??? those little things were not only crawling with large beady  eyes and fangs but traveled in herds! now THAT is scaRY.

Remember the little gnomey things that terrorized Kim Darby and Jim Hutton in Don't Be Afraid of the Dark?  Even now, I dread fireplaces . . . . . . .

Some people like cupcakes better--I for one care less for them

Shelob from LOTR, i think paralysis and then still being alive as that eight limbed, multi eyed demon sucked the life from me would be the worst death imaginable. Mr Samwise must have some seriously massive hobbitt balls.

'Do you like Huey Lewis and the News?'

werewolves are mine aswell for sure......underword anyone!

anything thats hairy with long hairier arms that flayal about alot when they run at you is scary in my book

Randall Boggs in MOSTERS, INC.  Any critter that can completely dis-ay-pear at will is pretty creepy.

On the other note, you mentioned werewolves, and I'd like to add one to the list.  I thought the werewolf in AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON was pretty well done.....because we barely saw him, but he was HUNGRY.

Professor Hathaway:  I noticed you stopped stuttering.
Bodie:      I've been giving myself shock treatments.
Professor Hathaway: Up the voltage.

I don't want to meet any monsters in real life.  Though I guess maybe I wouldn't mind catching a glimpse of the Loch Ness Monster...  from the shore.

Derf

I would hate to meet the monster from "The Horror of Party Beach." If I ever saw this thing coming at me, I'd keel over and die. . . laughing.

Brother Ragnarok

Huge, freaky underwater creatures.  The idea, even a scene in a movie, of seeing some huge mouth surrounded by tentacles or whatever, coming up from under a boat to swallow it whole.  Just the sheer alienness of things that live underwater, and the knowledge that there is no way in hell you can escape because you're in THEIR world and they can outswim you.  That and they look scary.  Hell, even that Mountain Dew commercial with the guy getting swallowed by the whale gives me the willies.
That, and creepy, slimy baby monsters that make weird, shrill noises, like the thing in "The Suckling" before it got really big.

Brother R

There are only two important things in life - monsters and hot chicks.
    - Rob Zombie
Rape is just cause for murdering.
    - Strapping Young Lad

Velvet Brotha

I think any creature from Aliens takes the cake. If you run into one, you're pretty much screwed. : (
