SABATA (1969) - Lee Van Cleef stars in this Spaghetti Western that played on Encore Western Channel last night. Not the greatest of the Italian Westerns, but very entertaining as Sabata walks away with $60,000 dollars by the end of the film. Sabata uses his incredible shooting skills to take away a safe full of money from some corrupt officials and bandits. There are also some other interesting characters in the movie like the banjo player, the town drunk, the indian, and those traveling acrobats. Encore also played RETURN OF SABATA (Van Cleef) and ADIOS SABATA (Yul Brynner) all last night.

I have not seen the first two, but, I have seen "Adios, Sabata" w/ Yul Brynner. It is not my favorite western. It is not even my favorite spaghetti western.
