OT: Quizno's Sub Commercial

Ok, couple of questions here.

Have any of you here seen the new Quizno's Sub commercial with the two "things" wearing black hats and singing about bringing a coupon in to get a dollar off any sub?

What the heck are those things!?
One sings while the other plays a guitar.

I got close to the TV the last time it played to get a better look and it  appears to be a dead mouse's body.
What is that?
The commercial is funny but disturbingly creepy in a weird way.

Anyone?

That commercial drives me nuts....the annoying song they sing keeps getting stuck in my head.  So I guess it's effective.

No clue what those things are supposed to be, but I'd love to hear the pitch for this one at the ad agency.

They look like some sort of small, tree dwelling mammals.  The eyes and mouths I've got no idea where they're from.  Bizarre ad, because the creatures don't look like something you'd want as a mascot, and the song is not a nice melody.  But I like it because of all that.  Certainly a lot better than that stupid "oven mitt" campaign.

I hate that f**king commercial. Who in the hell thought that it would be a good idea to have a couple of "things" sing a s**ty song about subs. Honestly I don't even want to go to Quizno's now because if I hear that song in there I'll destroy place.

I don't even know if there's a Quiznos around here. I just go to Subway and then put it in the microwave for about 45 seconds. Not quite toasted, but the cheese melts and gives it a hot sandwich taste.

ok I will say this, I hate the commercial witha passion and I hate those creepy f**king things, what the f**k are they suppossed to be anyways!? They look like fuzzy testicles with sombrero's...or worse, tribbles with mouths.
