How Often???

I recently posted this over on imdb and thought it should be pretty intresting to hear all of your responses.
How often do you watch horror or sci-fi movies,i usually  watch one or two a day depending on what type of mood i am in for watching them.

You got me beat. Maybe 2 or 3 on the weekend. During the week I usually dont even watch TV.

I'm averaging about 8 Horrror films a month. There are so many many Horror films available and also  many  that are hard to get hold of. Whats neat about Horror films is that they are so strange that anything is possible and anything can happen. To put it on film is sometimes just as funny as it is creepy.

Note that I can count only about 125 good Westerns worth watching. A bad Western is usually a boring Western, so the only ones worth watching are the good ones. This also goes for most genres. Horror films are different as there are hundreds of entertaining horror films both good and bad. Both of which are worth taking the time to watch.

I prefer to view all types of film, not sticking to any one genre. Ever see that list of best 100 films? There are about 1000 great films out there in my opinion. Just depends on what your looking for. Always looking for a unique or any classic piece of movie making.

If you approach your movie watching with a directors eye then almost any film becomes something of value.

I average one to three horror/sci-fi flicks a day. I usually take a break on weekends and go hiking through the woods, hang out at a museum or something.
Thanks to Wal Mart's $5 bin and the MANY sites on the net I have found more than enough to keep me busy for years to come.
There is one I can't seem to find a good quality print of...... Kill Dozer.  :(

Ahhhh yes, skaboi, I told hold dear the memories of Killdozer from my childhood. The funny thing is, I only saw it once. Probably the only time it was ever shown. I was a wee lad and can only remember a few scenes. I would LOVE to find a decent copy. That flick was pure, grade A, 100% All American Cinematic CHEESE!!!!! I mean hey, A bulldozer is possesed by a meteor that just happens to be possesed by the devil,....or something like that. LOL

I bought an anthology of science fiction from the 30's, and KILLDOZER! is in there. Cool. It's a Theodore Sturgeoun story, so it's actually sort of ~literature~ , and in the story even gives a reason for the bulldozer to be killing people that makes sense.

I generally watch at least 1 movie every day, but not always horror/sci-fi.  Most of my horror/sci-fi watching happens after 9:00 p.m. on Fridays or Saturdays.  Especially BAD horror/sci-fi . . .
