We have had a topic on favorite movie sidekicks, and some are still not going to forgive me for bringing up MAD MAX, but what about the characters who are equal partners in a movie such as Val and Earl from TREMORS?

There is also the case of actors who worked together in several films as a team. I was reminded in a post by Wence of Terence Hill and Bud Spencer who worked in several (okay, lots of) films together as a team.

Also, do Max and Goose, from MAD MAX, count as a team? (Stop the hissing)  (:

What are some of your favorite movie teams?

Wence

Maybe this doesn´t count as a team but what about Monty Python´s Flying Circus?

These guys were fabulous in their movies and especially in the series!

Menard

Yes, they count as a team. It is amazing how long they have continued to work together compared to other comedy teams that have split up after so many years. Then again, they may be the only ones who can stand each other. (:

Now you're talking:
Movie teams are great.  I think the popularity of the "Buddy Film" is rooted in our collective longing for seeing really good teams again, in serial films --
Laurel & Hardy
The 3 Marx Brothers
Mel Gibson & Danny Glover
The Ritz Brothers!
second vote for Monty Python (I'm still "up" from having met Neil Innes!)
Humphrey Bogart & Lauren Bacall
Humphrey Bogart & Edward G. Robinson (Over 12 films together!)
The East Side Kids (Leo Gorcey & Huntz Hall)
Ossie Davis & Ruby Dee
Ossie Davis & Ash! (Bubba Ho-Tep)
Humphrey Bogart & Peter Lorre
and . . . my very very very favorite . . . no comparison . . . the top o' de heep . .
Peter Cushing & Christopher Lee!!!

I'm done . . .

Vincent Price and his bad female assistant (it´s always the same actress).

Mr_Vindictive

I'm shocked that no one has mentioned Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin!  Bob Hope and Bing Crosby!

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

The Odd Couple themselves Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon

Also I loved the chemistry of Johnny Depp and Martin Landau

Bringing to mind the real life Ed Wood and Bela Lugosi

Master Blaster

A little off topic, but that reminds me of when my wife and I went to a celebrity graveyard in California. On Jack Lemon's gravestone it just says "Jack Lemmon In" I took me a minute to get it, then I almost hit the ground laughing. Now that man had a sense of humor.

Vincent Price's female assistant? Why that was none other than Hazel Court who was in the Edgar Alan Poe related films Price made for American International for Corman. As for teams, my favorites were Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, Charlie Chaplin and Eric Campbell,  Batman and Robin (well they did make a mint of movies together. ) I could've said Pamela Anderson's two bigest assets, but that is a team in their own right. lol

Jack Corbett

I'm straying a bit, but:

Lucas and Spielberg
Feral Kid and Mad Max

The Mad Max topic has come back to haunt you menard...

Of course, I like Hope and Crosby too, but they're still not my faves.
"Road to Morocco" I think is their best Road movie --
But if you say "Hope and Crosby", shouldn't it really be Hope, Crosby & LaMour (Dorothy), Attorneys at Silly?
Loved the Lemmon grave sighting!  That's so him -- Yes, him and Matthau were quite the team, too.

This is a little obvious, but I have to say Kirk, Spock, and McCoy.  The interplay between these three guys is what makes Star Trek so rewatchable.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.
