BlackAngel

Hey people, I just bought me Jet Li's Black Mask.  I only saw part of it at my job.  And here's what I learn in just that limited time:

After a lot of shots to the face and head, the guy's shades were still on his face for a good 5 to 15 minutes.

We all know what happens when those shades are broken (God forbid!!!)

The actual mask, along with Clark Kent's glasses, is a stupid way to disguise one's alter ego (corregated cardboard, c'mon)

Plastic CDs can kill.  Guess Jet knew what to do with that Glitter soundtrack.  lol

Like I said, I only saw part of Black Mask.  So now that it is in my possesion, I'll see the thing in its entirety and see what else I learned.

So until then:

Call me crazy, but doesn't it seem easier to hide your identity when your face isn't left showing? Maybe I should wear sunglasses when I'm in superhero form. All anyone has to do to disguise themself is to cover-up their eyes or wear glasses.
Hey BlackAngel, what do you think about the fight at the end? Best damn part of the movie! ALTHOUGH, there was some good violent moments throughout the movie the ending was the best done action sequence of the movie. Oh yeah, Francoise Yip is a MEGA-HOTTIE!!!!

BlackAngel

That was the part that I was refering to on my thread. The fight scene was the s**t.  But, when I was watching it with a couple of coworkers, we were laughing at the fact that Jet was giving the leader some good shots to the grill  and dome (face and head for the non-ghetto).  I mean the kind of hits that can make your head snap back and fall on your ass, and the guy's shades were still on the his face!!  And perish the thought of what would happen if the aformentioned shades were to break (which they did), you would be ready for the most cliched and ajustable line in all kung fu movies : You (state the incident) now you must die.  But I'll watch it and see what else there is to offer.

Mofo Rising

Can anbody forget the classic scene in the Tick comics where the Superman stand-in loses his patented hypno-glasses and is forced to use the "thumb and forefinger" glasses technique?  I know my family will be laughing at that for generations.

I thought the movie was prett cool
and man that girl,mmmmmm :)
I liked the beats too,not that hip-hop+kung-fu is anything special but something different was nice
