Here's a man I love to hate. He is the epitome of all that is geek. Right down to his appearance.

Nevermind that he can be a hypocrite about many things, right on other things, I cannot read his "reviews". They are long and self-serving and unreadable. His reviews make my eyes glaze over.

The only thing that's, um, "redeemable" about his site is that it can get pretty accurate scoops. Although, it does have its share of bogus information from so-called legit informants.

But Knowles comes across as a legend in his own mind. If you can scroll through all his pointless banter, some of the stuff is okay. That Moriarty chump is easier to read and doesn't come across as too much of a gas bag, sometimes.

And the talkback section is a repository for some of the most vile gutter trash on the internet.

It's a shame that AICN gets most  of the late-breaking news. I'd rather it whither and die and fade from the 'net. There are probably more sites of its ilk that are more deserving of the "acclaim" that AICN garners.

Rant over.

I like some parts of the site. When you destroy Rollerball, you've gotta be powerful. And he did just that. He destroyed the Rollerball remake.

Long story.

AndyC

No, the people who made the Rollerball remake destroyed it.
