She (1985) review

Andrew, is there any chance of a Badmovies review for this sometime in the future? I know there's been a reader review, but I'm sure you hinted somewhere on the site, way back when, you were considering looking at this one.

After The Trial of Billy Jack, this has got to be one of the worst films out there.....a warped fusion of Conan the Barbarian and â€"yesâ€" The Road Warrior. But nothing remotely to do with the H. Rider Haggard adventure. Israeli director Avi Nesher has made better films since, some might be pleased/disheartened to hear.

There's a 1985 version? The only one I have actually seen is the old one with Ursula Andress in it.

Hey this is really LH-C posting. For some reason I can't log in....

Anyway, I rented this last year and man is it bad with a capital B. Sandahl Bergman is in it, and the filmmakers couldn't decide if they wanted to make a sword-and-sorcery type flick or a post-apocolyptic futuristic type movie so they combined the two. Sandahl was always a healthy girl, but in this she looks really skinny. Watch out for David Brandon (who played in the stage director in Stagefright).

I will probably avoid writing my own, just because it is already covered.  However, I do know that I did not like it as much as him.  It would probably get a 2 or 3 in my book, but certainly not anywhere near the least entertaining movie that I can think of.

Unless there's some Sandahl Bergman nudity here (and I doubt it), there's little chance I'm watching this one soon. Some of the reviews I've read are really destructive, and it comes from the almighty Cannon, which makes for a double advice against watching it.
