Just watched the A&E/BBC Two disc DVD of "The Life of Python". Gotta love it! "We tried to stop them..." says the blurb, and you'll be glad they diden't . Contains"The Monty Python " story, "Pythonland", with Michael Palin doing a great send-up of his travel show. "The lost Python Mayday Special", and lots of other neat fecal matter. Stuff i'd not seen before, and so, i recomend it. And now for something compleatly different......Hironimous Flangepart will now sing the compleat song book of M. Python, while being dragged backwords through the London sewers with his head in a bucket, while rabid ferrets nibble at his naughty bits. Film at 11:00.

Also, check out the "Monty Python LIVE" set from A&E; while it doesn't have as much rare stuff as the Life of Python set (It contains "Live at the Hollywood Bowl" and "Parrot Sketch Not Included," which are both readily available), it does have the reunion special they did a few years back on HBO, and the other episode they did for German TV, which is just plain invaluable (Hearing the Lumberjack Song in German is worth the price of admission!)
