WOMBA?... WOMBA... wombaaaaaaa.......
How did you come up with that one?
And what does it mean?
And praytell, what was wrong with "Professor E. Eduard Puffenbarger's Remarquable Streamless Interfester"?

Wanted the channel to have a catchy name by keeping it short, simple and weird.

Also I was recalling that episode of the MUNSTERS when Eddie Munster gets to be on his favorite TV show ZOMBU (or  something like that) and I always liked and thought that was a great episode.

Hahaha, I just got Slumber Party Massacre from Netflix, and was just watching the trailers on the dvd disc, and they had a trailer for "I drink your blood'' which was just fantastic, if only for the amount of times the voiceover guy said, 'I drink your blood and I eat your flesh!' and then asks us 'what will this axe be used for?' and other implements of desetruction including an electric knife and a hose [??]

Sounds like a fun one!

Yes, I DRINK YOUR BLOOD is a good one and Netflix has it on DVD. That is how I viewed it after Burgomaster told us about it here last year. Definately worth the viewing.  Hope you enjoy it Dean.

Those of you with Comcast digital cable. On the OnDemand menu under Cutting Edge is a great section called Something Weird. Under this heading they have the trailers for Blood Feast, Paint Me Blood Red and others. Plus they have some very odd indi films. Scott wrote:

If God is watching us, the least we can do is be
entertaining.

Uhh... I still don't get it.
Are you talking about a wombat who lost his T?
Or could it be the wompa beast from The Empire Strikes Back?
Or possibly even the Woomba feminine hygene robot from Saturday Night Live?

I think he just means WOMBA.....   Why does everything have to meen anything?
I could be wrong. If I am, sorry Scott.

Yes, the name of the channel is WOMBA. It's purely an original word.

The name is related to nothing of this world.

It's ....................WOMBA TV ........................

odinn7

But...

I read it as Wombatv like Direct TV is done as Directv. It's Wombat I tell you! Sorry...Scott, do you mind if I still read it as Wombatv?

Too bad you don't really run a tv station Scott. Some great line-ups you've been listing.
