I just received my copy of Dark Power from blackstar.co.uk , and it tutrns out its all-region, not just region 2 as advertised. Just thought I'd let you know.

That is pretty cool news.  I might have to pick that one up then - how is the quality on the disc?

Darkstar

Dark Power region 0 has been out over here for well over a year now, but because I once had a really bad VHS transfer that put me off the movie (for years I thought it was in black and white) I've been put off upgrading, that and I wasn't really impressed with the movie in the first place.

If it's the same release,it should have no extras and runs at full screen with a bog standard stereo soundtrack.

But still it only a budget DVD (under ten quid).

Sounds like the same one. It's not good picture quality, looks like a video thats been watched quite a few times, but its plenty watchable. It has no real extras, other than scene selection if that counts. No subtitles even. But then again it is only available on DVD and its only £9.99, so if you want the film you dont got no choice, do ya now?

Darkstar

I don't know why I've never really liked it, it's got everything in it for a good badmovie.

Also the version I saw was one of the most butchered films I've seen (thanks BBFC)

I'll give it another chance on DVD.
