just wondering if you guys knew that Peter jacksons home fortune is to be an estimate of 5 Million and that he pays the Armed Forces $20 to be extras on the Lord of the Rings.  Surprizing to know, (it was for me) many of the News Articals i read about the LOTRs are all quite different in some cases.  
Probably 'cause of all the hype about LOTR is suddenly burst all over the net and papers giving anyone the chance to make an artical.

$20 American?  That's not a lot.

They did the same thing in BRAVEHEART.  Mostly because they needed a large group of people who at least have the discipline to do these sorts of battle scenes without too much direction.  Seems like a big wargame to me.
