OK everyone, more trivia (sorry, you know I love stuff like that) besides it might be fun.
* Remember it's "retro toons" try to keep it 60's 70's 80's and early 90's, please and thanks.
* Please post a hint or something that might help, maybe even a year.
* Anyone can post a toon photo, but the current guess photo has to be solved 1st.
* Please tell us what the toon is after 3 days unsolved, you still get 1 point, thanks.
* I'll try to keep score. You can even add Bonus questions about your toon's photo if you want.
* Please note Bonus questions are not worth any additional points.
* If you guess 3 in a row you get the "3 in a row, good eye award" = 3 Bonus points ftw!
I'll go 1st with an easy one.

On second thought, yeah I think it's the newer Star Blazers.  Funny thing: he also looks like Captain Harlock from
Galaxy Express 999 sans the eyepatch and the funky suit.

				He's very Leiji Matsumoto-ish.

				Captain Future ?
And yes he is very Leiji Matsumoto-ish.  One half of the team that brought us Star Blazers and other greats along with his one time partner, Yoshinobu Nishizaki.

Here's a hint. This show does have giant robots.

I want that Space Transformers dvd $1.00 lol. (that looks bad, but good bad.)

It was shown in rotation with four other imported anime shows. All but one featured a giant robot.

				Jim Terry's Force Five?
In that case, he'd have to be from Starvengers (Getta Robo G), Dangard Ace, Grandaizer, Gaiking, or Spaceketeers (Starzinger).  Spaceketeers is the one without the robot.
I'll guess Dangard Ace, since I've seen the others and don't recognize the guy right off.  It was also a Leiji Matsumoto show.

Not Magical Girls.
If no one can get it by tonight (9 P.M. in my local area)  I'll just say what it is.  Here's a couple of more hints to help.  The anime is based of a
sports manga.  The creator also did a tennis manga.

No, but I'll in another 2 hints since I'm here.  The sport in question is a martial art, like karate, kendo, or judo, and the anime went on for 124 episodes.

Wish Kid starring Macauley Culkin.  I was trying to find another pic, but to no avail.

				Nope.

Another clue: The little guy in that picture (who would normally look like the big guy next to him if he weren't all messed up) was voiced by Billy West. Among other things, he spouted a lot of goofy non-sequiturs.

I remember that show.
Project G.e.e.K.e.R.
CBS show around '96 or '97.  They cancelled it rather quickly.  I used to watch it and the Ninja Turtles before both were pulled.

Woo hoo! That's it. I'm amazed that one stumped so many people. But the show did end rather quickly. It was an awesome show that had decent ratings, but it apparently fell through the cracks when CBS shuffled the schedule to make room for mandatory educational programming. Something had to go, and it wasn't going to be an established show. A pity.

They got rid of a lot of programming.  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles went around that time, too.  Then again, it'd been on for like, 8 years by then.
Funny thing is, they gave Weird Al a show.  Then, they completely re-vamped it, told him it "HAD" to be educational, then edited out half the jokes.  They'd write things specifically so it'd get written out, though, so they could still use some 'adult' humor.  It killed the show.  If he'd done the show for Fox or Cartoon Network or Comedy Central, it'd have lasted a while longer.

Nope on the Clue Club answer.  Not a mystery-solving cartoon, just sports related.

Famous DC characters in the lead. (Not pictured)
Filmation cartoon from the 70s (also appeared in the late 60s, here it is given the addendum of NEW ADVENTURES OF).

				The Superfriends?

Superfriends is close, the characters from this cartoon were in that.  But that was a Hanna-Barbera cartoon, this is Filmation.  The character in the picture is a supervillian from another dimension, enemy of the main character and an annoying sidekick.
That should almost give it away.

I'll be back later with a new one.

I chopped off some characters from this show, as they would give it away.

Cartoon spinoff (1980) of a popular 70's show.
The 2 characters shown are the main character's dog, and his futuristic girlfriend (literally, she's from the future).  They are not from the regular 70's series.
2 other characters from the 70's show are in the cartoon but not pictured.
The gang time-travel through history and fictional history.

Don't know the kid's name but I believe the toon is Frankenstein Jr.  The kid's name is probably "Frank".  Never seen it but heard of it; just a bit before my time.

You got half of it; the kid's name was Buzz Conroy, and his father built the robot superhero known as Frankenstein Jr.
     You're up....

any more hints? I know that cartoon - I can't pin the name... it had a bear as well, no?

I don't think there was a bear.. an invisible horse, though.   It was a Hanna-Barbera cartoon and released in 1979.  The old prospector is a ghost.  The girls work for a ranch owner and the ghost is helpful to the girls and harasses the grumpy owner.

Yup, Galloping Ghost! I was thinking of The Hillbilly Bears - Hanna-Barbera.

This was a Hanna-Barbera cartoon, prime time, about football players.
