Sorry guys: it is in reference to one of the "Dammit Jim" quotations.  "Dammit Jim, I'm a doctor not an escalator."
And an escalator would be handier than the good doctor for delivering the lovelies.

And here I have been afraid to admit the times when I have been confused.  I feel better now.  Thanks for that.
